Regulations
First of all, at the national level you will find the following regulations:
- Law 5/2012, of July 6, on mediation in civil and commercial matters.
- Royal Decree 980/2013, of December 13, which develops certain aspects of Law 5/2012, of July 6, on mediation in civil and commercial matters.
According to them, in order to be able to practice throughout the national territory and, in addition, access the registry of mediators of the Ministry of Justice you need:
- University degree or Higher Level Training Cycle
- Liability insurance
- Accredited course of minimum 100 hours
