Registration of mediators Castile and León

In this section we will provide you with all the information you need to register as a mediation professional in this Autonomous Community. Likewise, you will be able to consult the training you need to meet requirements and that our School makes available to you.

Training Academic

Have a college degree in Law, Psychology, Psychopedagogy, Pedagogy, Sociology, Social Work or Social Education; or, any other qualification (Degree, Bachelor's or Diploma) of a social, psychological, legal, educational or health nature.

Training specific

Minimum training of 300 hours. It must be taught, organized or supervised by University Institutions or Professional Colleges.

Application

Registration application

The General Family Directorate is in charge of processing the resolution of applications for registration in the Registry of Family Mediators of Castilla y León. You must complete the Responsible Declaration.

Required documentation

The following documentation will be required:

  • Responsible declaration where the mediator states that he or she meets the requirements for the exercise of the professional activity.
  • Copy of DNI or NIE.
  • Copy of university degree in case of not authorizing the managing body to verify it.
  • Copy of the certificate or diploma that certifies specific training in Family Mediation. If the course is not accredited by the Junta de Castilla y León, the certificate must be accompanied by a document stating its content and duration in teaching hours.

Procedure to follow in registration

You can submit the application electronically or in person: Telematics: You will need to access to the website of the Junta de Castilla y León and carry out the procedure through one of these procedures.

  1. By electronic signature: An electronic certificate will be necessary to prove the identity of the citizen, in addition to an internet connection and a properly configured browser.
  2. Electronic signature with self-signature.
  3. Electronic signature with AppLets.

In person: You can appear at

  1. Family Sections of the Territorial Management of Social Services.
  2. Registration assistance offices of the Junta de Castilla y León.
  3. In any of the places established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015 (LPACAP).
