Is mediation a real professional opportunity for pedagogues and educational psychologists?

 

Absolutely yes.

 

From our School, we have recently reached a collaboration agreement with the Pro-College of Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy Association of the Community of Madrid with the aim of being able to create a synergy between different entities. Through this alliance, associates will be made aware of accredited and practical training to access the registry of mediators of the Ministry of Justice, to practice as a mediator.

Besides, Members of this association will have a 10% discount on all training from the International School of Mediation.

What is the Pro-College of Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy Association of the Community of Madrid?

It is an association, born in March 2019, that seeks to promote the constitution of the Official College of Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy in the Community of Madrid. They combine this work with the development of activities aimed at improving pedagogical work, weaving a support network that supports education professionals.

Its values, such as commitment, transparency, leadership and initiative, are shown day by day through their actions. One of these actions will be carried out on Thursday, April 30, where they will hold a Webinar (or virtual meeting) in which they will delve into the figure of the pedagogue in the field socio-educational.

 

 

 

They currently have 15 people organized into commissions, about 80 people
associated and with collaborating entities such as DIDE, Grupo Sorolla or the International Mediation School itself.

We want to thank PROCOLPED Madrid for its collaboration with our entity, publicly, for the interest shown in being able to offer training to their associates and for our part we are grateful for being able to contribute our grain of sand to the recognition of these professionals, with the possibility that they can carry out our training with economic facilities.

Without a doubt, this collaboration supports the different professional profiles, within the Pro-College of Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy Association of the Community of Madrid, for their job placement as mediators. 

All of them are, in many cases, the ideal profile to resolve conflicts of certain types. (in the family environment, in the educational, work, intercultural field, etc.)

From our School, an entity accredited by the Ministry of Justice to practice mediation with more than 1,800 already trained students, the importance of both disciplines is highlighted: Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy, within mediation.
