II Meeting on Mediation in Spanish-German Conflicts in cases of international child abduction

 

Next March will take place the II Meeting on Conflict Mediation Spanish-German in cases of international child abduction in the Illustrious Bar Association of Barcelona.

The meeting, organized by the CLAMÍS Association and MiKK eV, will discuss mediation in family proceedings and the legal treatment of child abduction from the perspective of Spanish law, in relation to the return procedure provided for in the 1980 Hague Convention on international child abduction.

The different psychological approaches to the concept of interest of the minor will be addressed, with role plays and presentation of cases, within the context of interculturality, as well as the importance of the family in both countries, the challenges and special tools within mediation Spanish-German, and the characteristics of international family mediations in general.

Welcome and introduction of the participants and presentation of the program.
Summary of the results of the first meeting.
Presentation of MiKK eV, current events and future prospects.
Group work: preparation of a list of competencies for the exercise of mediation in these matters.
