An Intercultural Mediator position is required in Roquetas de Mar (Almería) to perform the following functions.
Features
- Develop community and educational awareness actions that contribute to mitigating intolerant or xenophobic attitudes and generate active networks between local social agents.
- Develop meeting spaces for coexistence between the native and migrant population to strengthen the social fabric of the neighborhood and educational community and form mediation references in different areas.
- Creation of networks and contacts with key project actors so that the project's objectives are met.
- Support the implementation of different awareness campaigns.
- Implement dialogue and search for solutions to conflicts.
Requirements
- Training in intercultural mediation and community work with migrant population.
- Capacity for analysis, planning and initiative.
- Interpersonal communication skills and good teamwork.
- Experience in managing volunteers.
