The Benidorm City Council is putting out to tender a new construction project for a Social Municipal Mediation Center in Benidorm, where all consultations related to citizen mediation will be carried out.
Social Mediation Service
Last March, the Department of Social Welfare of the Benidorm City Council launched the Free Mediation Service for citizens, with the aim of managing and resolving different types of conflicts between two or more parties, to prevent the dispute from going to court.
The construction of this mediation center aims to achieve a improvement of the provision of mediation services that is being offered to citizens. There will be two floors in which there will be different service offices, meeting rooms, waiting rooms and service areas.
In addition, this new space will have all the accessibility and energy efficiency measures that characterize the buildings that are built in Benidorm.
EDUSI Project
Under the EDUSI Project of the city, is the construction of this Mediation Center in Benidorm in its Strategic Line of Action 11 that "pays special attention to the Conditioning and Improvement of provisions for social care, job placement and citizen participation, optimization of the management and use of public spaces"
The Councilor for Public Space of Benidorm, José Ramón González de Zárate, intends provide Benidorm with a greater range of spaces for social care. “We want to provide the best social services in the most appropriate facilities for our workers and citizens, to continue standing out as a pioneering city in public services and social use facilities for our neighbors.”.
