The mediation now becomes a job opportunity booming for lawyers, psychologists, social graduates and/or passionate professionals in a type of alternative agreement to judicial means, through which the parties can resolve their conflicts by mutual agreement, through dialogue and with the neutral intervention of a third person, the mediator.

Mediation in this sense reduces the economic and emotional cost, facilitating dialogue and negotiation. Furthermore, the agreements reached can be validated judicially or elevated to a public deed.

An attempt is made to facilitate the process and streamline the procedures. That is why more and more professionals specialized in the subject are sought.

To this end, the current regulations define the requirements and demands to register for the Mediator Registry with the purpose of facilitating access to mediation for citizens through the advertising of professional mediators and institutions whose purpose is the promotion and administration of mediation.
