The Nunes Police Mediation Unit reaches agreements on more than 85% of the requests processed

The Nunes Police Mediation Unit has reached agreements on more than 85% of the applications that they accepted for processing. They carried out seven actions throughout the first quarter of the year, two on a collective basis (between 25 and 15 plaintiffs), and the remaining five on an individual basis.

The Mayor and Security Councilor of the town, David García, has highlighted that the balance "is positive because we see that there is a will on the part of the people involved to reach agreements, through the mediation carried out by our agents." has stated.

The service, which is completely free, was launched in 2016 and is made up of an officer and two agents who are dedicated to mediating conflicts between citizens. This service can be requested in writing, filling out the corresponding form, at the municipality's Local Police checkpoint.
