Description:

At Save the Children Spain we are looking for an Educator to help guarantee the improvement of the situation of vulnerability and lack of protection of migrant children and young people in Malaga through care and development of mediation actions.

Training:

-University degree in social work, education, social integration, intercultural mediation or similar.

-Valuable training and knowledge in: Protection, Children's rights and leisure and free time.

-Use of tools at a professional level: Office automation –Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

-Proficiency in: Spanish, Arabic, Dariya and/or French is essential. Valuable: English and sub-Saharan African languages.

Experience:

-At least 2 years of experience working with minors and/or migrants is essential, preferably in street or community contexts.

-Experience working with migrant children and families or asylum seekers in situations of social risk.

-Valuable knowledge and experience in psychosocial intervention, child and youth participation and interculturality.

Minimum requirements:

Description:

This is a contract that ends in December 2021.

– Act as a facilitator between both families to which the boys and girls belong to improve the quality of communication between both, as well as discover, using the same ways of managing conflicts, reaching satisfactory agreements.

-Support families of origin and foster families in the fostering process.

-Preparation of reports and family intervention plans.

-Training actions. Participation in activities with boys and girls.

-Maintain the necessary coordination with the rest of the social agents involved in each case plan.

-Updating information and files concerning the project.

-Supervise and guide family meetings

Minimum requirements:

-University degree in Social Work or Social Education.

-Specialized training in Family Mediation.

-Knowledge about Attachment Theory and its disorders.* Driving license.

-Previous experience of at least 1 year in family intervention/mediation.
