During the first half of 2021, labor mediation has increased in Huelva with 130 requests.
The territorial delegate of Employment, Training and Self-Employment of the Board in Huelva, Antonio Augustín, has assessed the main activity data corresponding to the first half of 2021 of the Extrajudicial System for the Resolution of Labor Conflicts of Andalusia, Sercla.
In statements to Europa Press, he explained that Sercla "registered in Huelva a total of 130 requests for mediation, 74 of them about individual conflicts, affecting 74 companies and 81 workers and a total of 56 requests about collective conflicts that affected 56 Huelva companies and 8,626 workers.
Highlighting the increase in conflicts compared to previous years. In Andalusia, 864 individual conflicts were presented and 472 collective ones, this represents 8.56 percent and 6.22 percent respectively in Huelva.
Of all the mediations carried out on individual conflicts at the Huelva headquarters, 24.53 percent have ended in agreement, these affected workers from administrative activities and auxiliary services, trade and vehicle repair, agriculture and livestock, hospitality and of health activities and social services.
Regarding collective conflicts, 23.4 percent of the mediations carried out in the province of Huelva ended with an agreement. The main reasons that caused them were related to the application or interpretation of agreements or standards, with the working day, salary, negotiations of agreements or modification of working conditions, affecting economic activities in the following order: retail and wholesale trade and vehicle repair; manufacturing industry; transportation and storage; construction and administrative activities and auxiliary services.
