On the occasion that tomorrow January 21st It is celebrated at the European level Mediation DayFrom different parts of Spain, multiple conferences and events will be held to support the dissemination of mediation, informing the population about the advantages and benefits that this alternative route brings.
We detail some of the events that will take place:
In Balearics, an open day will be organized in order to inform personalized and free of charge, to citizens who want to come to the association's headquarters in Palma (La Rambla, 10), to learn about the advantages that this conflict resolution technique presents.
In Canary Islands The First National Mediation Convention called "Mediation is the future" will be held. A debate forum will be developed that will improve practice and knowledge about the mediation process.
In Catalonia, several events will be held in favor of mediation. Among them, we highlight that immediate mediations will be carried out at the doors of the court. Mediation tables will be set up in the City of Justice of Barcelona. We encourage you to participate.
On the other hand, in Estremadura, from the Mérida City Council there will be a few days where the central topic will be the dissemination of mediation. The person in charge of the Mediation Office in Mérida, Maru Gallardo, explained that an activity will be carried out jointly with the City Councils of Seville and Almendralejo: “The activity will take place on Tuesday at the Mérida market, where a stand will be located informative “If you sit down, I'll tell you”, with the aim that citizens can have greater knowledge of mediation.
Furthermore in Grenade, The Bar Association and the Specialized Mediation Group have started a day today, which will last until tomorrow, where they will inform all interested parties about the alternative for conflict resolution.

From Malaga, Yesterday we already announced the great event that will be held at the Contemporary Art Center of Malaga, an institutional event in favor of mediation. Different organizations will be invited, such as the City Council, the Provincial Council, as well as representatives of the different Professional Associations in the area.
In Toledo, Valencia and Valladolid Information tables will also be held at street level, disseminating the mediation process and its advantages.
