Intercultural Mediator in Navarra

Description

Intercultural Mediator position is required in Navarra, with geographical mobility between Pamplona and Tudela.

Requirements and working conditions

• Professional experience of 1 to 3 years and minimum studies of Higher Technician in Social Integration
• Permanent contract and full time
• Monday to Friday morning schedule with flexibility in the afternoons
• Salary according to agreement
• Observations Location: 3-4 days in Pamplona, 1-2 days in Tudela
• Complementary training Essential training in mediation
• Valuable knowledge of conflict resolution techniques, project design and public communication techniques
• Languages: command of written and spoken Arabic required
• Driving license(s) B and own vehicle

Features

• Complement the study and personal and social diagnosis of the young person considering key aspects: personal and family history, the migratory process, a history of lack of protection, the sociocultural keys of the country of origin...etc.
• Collaborate with the educational team in the preparation of the young person's Individual Educational Program
• Support the educational team in the application and development of the young person's Individual Educational Program
• Assist the educational team in the following key objectives: language knowledge, administrative regularization, socio-community integration and socio-labor promotion
• Lead and promote the search for possible reference figures, fosters or mentors in the socio-familial or socio-community network of the child or adolescent
• Collaborate in the assessment of suitability of possible foster or reference families for the child and/or adolescent
• Mediate in situations of conflict or difficulties in the relationship with professionals, the socio-community network and institutions
• Support social awareness in relation to the situation and needs of the young people welcomed
• Testify in judicial proceedings derived from the young people served if required by the Court, the Prosecutor's Office or the Public Entity

• Any other function that, being necessary in the intervention of the programs that are the subject of this concert, corresponds to their professional competence.
