Requirements
- Non-regulated training in intercultural mediation, immigration matters and/or child protection matters.
- Experience as a mediator or intercultural mediator with immigrant minors in the Agency.
- Experience as a mediator or intercultural mediator with immigrant minors in other public centers.
- Experience as a mediator or intercultural mediator with immigrant minors in subsidized/private centers.
- University Degree / Bachelor's Degree and Engineering / Diplomas and Technical Engineering.

Intercultural Mediator in Madrid
Description
A selection process is opened for an intercultural mediator for an intercultural mediation service in a protection center, with functions typical of a mediator, translation and interpretation service, and support for the educational team and/or management of the center according to the needs.
Requirements
- Training training cycles, or professional certificates, of medium level in subjects related to the sociocultural area, high school and/or proven experience in carrying out tasks of the same or similar nature.
- Mother tongue of Arabic or accredit with qualifications or study certificates from the country of origin.
- Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Competencies Analyze and solve problems, Initiative and autonomy, Optimism and enthusiasm, Organization and planning, Interpersonal communication, Teamwork, Negotiation skills.
Features
- Facilitate communication processes between unaccompanied foreign minors and the professionals of the Residences.
- Promote knowledge of the culture and values of our society.
- Guide and advise the professionals of the Residence to carry out an appropriate intervention with migrant minors from the multicultural competence of the figure of the mediator.
- Help in the educational task and sociocultural adaptation of the minors in care, facilitating their understanding of any instructions given to them by the Residence's Technical Team.
- Promote knowledge of the rules of coexistence, as well as the organization and operation of the center.
- Facilitate coexistence relationships within the Residence, providing ethnocultural knowledge that promotes rapprochement and understanding between people from different cultures (minors and professionals).
- Intervene in the management and resolution of possible conflicts that could occur both inside and outside the Residence (educational centers, work centers, leisure areas, etc.).
- Facilitate the communication of professionals with the minor's family of origin, in order to know the minor's location and situation, and collaborate in the transmission of information and the sending of documentation to achieve full identification.
- Accompany and help the professionals and minors of the Residence in the processing of documentation and in carrying out various procedures, both with Spanish and foreign authorities: obtaining a passport and/or personal identification document, appearances of the minor, medical appointments , etc.
- Conduct a sociocultural integration workshop, which favors the integration of minors in external academic resources and makes it possible to acquire work habits, as well as compliance with the rules and schedules of a regulated activity.

Family Mediator in Madrid
Requirements
- Degree in Law, or any other degree or studies equivalent to it.
- Qualification in Family Mediation.
- At least 100 hours of specialized training in Family Mediation.
