Features

• Guarantee minors a life of security, socio-labor integration and learning in a normalized and stable context.
• Interpret in the communication processes between foreign minors and the center's professionals, mediating in conflict situations derived from language difficulties and/or cultural or other differences.
• Guide, from an intercultural perspective, the center's professionals in order to carry out an appropriate intervention with minors.
• Support educators and auxiliary technicians in socio-educational intervention.

Requirements

• Experience with minors and young people who are part of the protection service.
• Accredited knowledge of the Arabic language at native or C1 level.
• Organization and management capacity.
• Driving license.
• Immediate incorporation availability and time flexibility.
• Professional with demonstrable experience working with minors in residential centers and/or direct intervention in similar settings.

• Act as a bridge between the neighborhood and the administration and speaker of the needs and interests that are most difficult to identify by the administration and services.
• Carry out awareness-raising and community promotion interventions with various services (educational, health, leisure) and entities in the territory.

Requirements

• Fluency in Catalan and Spanish, oral and written.
• Training and/or experience of at least one year in mediation and conflict resolution or translation is essential.
• Qualifications in the social field are valuable: Degree in Social Work, Social Education or equivalent or higher, such as graduates in Psychology, Law, Anthropology or Sociology.
