The Children and Families Area was founded in 2007 with the care of unaccompanied foreign minors, expanding and diversifying care for children and adolescentsIn the last decade, the area has experienced exponential growth, the type of care provided has diversified and expanded geographically, becoming an entity with a national presence.
SAMU Foundation, from its Children and Families Department, It provides protective action with the resources and instruments that respond to the needs that arise and enables the application of protective measures that guarantee the rights and well-being of children and adolescents who are at risk or unprotected. Currently, it has more than 50 centres specialised in caring for children and adolescents of legal age, of different types, appropriate to the group being cared for.
The basic principle that guides our action is the protection of the group of children and adolescents, focusing on care for children with special difficulties and situations of greater social vulnerability.

Features
- Collaborate in the eimplementation of the educational program of the center and individually of minors or young people, under the supervision of the educator and in coordination with the rest of the educational team, carrying out auxiliary, complementary and support tasks for their work.
- Exercise observation work recording shift incidents through the various established channels.
- Just like the rest of the staff at the center or program, he/she provides basic care and ensures the physical and mental integration of minors and young people.
- Prepare and fill out all documents that are considered appropriate according to their functions, participate in the development of specific projects based on the needs of the minors and the activities of the center or program.
- Accompany minors on their trips or outings, procedures, consultations, walks, excursions and leisure and free time animation in general.
- During the carrying out the activities will be accompanied and supervised by the educator.
Required training (any of the following)
- Official title of Leisure and free time monitor .
- Higher Vocational Training in Social Integration.
- Official qualification in intercultural mediation. University degree in the social branch.
- Other related training.
Experience requested
- Experience with related groups.
Other requirements
- Professionals available for immediate incorporation and with flexible hours to work rotating shifts, with experience in caring for minors at risk of social exclusion.
Offered:
- Salary according to the IV State Collective Agreement on Youth Reform and Protection of Minors.
- Temporary contracts.
- Different working hours depending on the workplace.
Level: employee.
