The Red Cross needs social mediators for its Immigrants and Asylum Program in Almería.

Features
- You will be responsible for welcoming, monitoring the stay and preparing for the departure of people participating in the Program.
- You will accompany them to appointments of a health, administrative, educational, etc. nature.
- You will fully monitor the progress of the person participating in the Program.
- You will ensure adequate and fluid communication with the rest of your colleagues.
- You will participate in the recording of data from actions and interventions carried out.
- You will accompany the people participating in the Program in the socio-emotional processes.
- ·You will participate in mediations for conflict resolution in an intercultural context and for coexistence.
- You will participate in follow-up and coordination meetings.
- You will energize the project's volunteer work.
Required training (any of the following)
- Official title of Leisure and free time monitor.
- Higher Vocational Training in Social Integration.
- Official qualification in intercultural mediation. University degree in the social branch.
Experience requested
- Experience with related groups.
Other requirements
- Language skills.
- French high level minimum B1-B2, English, Arabic, African Languages.
- Knowledge and/or Training in Migration, Humanitarian Assistance, International Protection and Human Trafficking.
- B1 driving license.
- Be a Red Cross employee or active volunteer or belong to one of the vulnerable population groups contemplated in the Red Cross Employment Plan.
- Experience with related and similar groups.
- Training and experience in working with other disadvantaged groups or another university degree in a social field.
- Training and experience in volunteer management.

Gross annual remuneration €22,066

Social mediator for immigrants in Madrid
Job Description
Depending on the Coordination of the Immigrant Assistance Center, we need to incorporate two social mediators in the afternoon and weekend shifts.

- You will represent the Institution in its area of competence or activity.
- You will collaborate in institutional campaigns/activities.
- You will guarantee the execution and compliance with the regulations and procedures applicable to the Institution, in relation to the areas of quality, labor and risk prevention.
- You will actively participate and collaborate in the development of the corporate memory
- You will actively participate and collaborate in the management and coordination of the team of volunteers in the activity area.
- You will ensure the good image of the institution.
Requirements
- Higher Vocational Training (social area).
- Proven experience of at least 6 months in intervention with homeless people.
- Experience in intercultural mediation.
- User-level computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Access, Internet)
Other requirements
- Knowledge of languages (English, French and/or Arabic)
- Experience in working with volunteers
- Belong to some of the vulnerable population groups contemplated in the Spanish Red Cross employment plan
- Be in possession of a disability certificate
Experience requested
At least 1 year of work experience in similar positions
It is offered
- Weekend vacancy: Working hours: 24 hours a week. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Afternoon position: Working hours and schedule: 35 hours/week. Monday to Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Professional group: Group 3 Level 4
- Gross annual remuneration 24-hour workday: €14,470
- Gross annual remuneration 35-hour workday: €21,103.32
- Trial Period: the one established by law.
- Work center: Temporary Care Center for Immigrants (CAT) (Calle Valdecanillas 112).
- Social benefits included in the Red Cross Agreement with the Community of Madrid and EFR certificate.
