The Ministry of Health and Social Policies of Extremadura publishes a tender for a Family Mediation Service in the towns of Badajoz, Cáceres and Plasencia with an estimated value of 549,072 EUR.

In these weeks, the technical specifications have been published, which aims to establish the technical conditions that regulate the hiring of the Family Mediation Service in the towns of Badajoz, Cáceres and Mérida.

The Family Mediation Service will be provided in these locations, in each of which the General Directorate of Social and Family Policy will provide the necessary facilities to carry out the service.

To this end, three lots are established for the award of the contract:

1. A family mediation service point located in Badajoz.
2. Caceres. A family mediation service point located in Cáceres.
3. Merida. A family mediation service point located in Plasencia.

What services do you provide?

This contract raises the need for a family mediation service that provides among its services:

• Direct attention to conflict in matters of family mediation, in derived cases and in particular cases that they access voluntarily and freely.
• Dissemination of family mediation and research about the characteristics of family mediation
• Carry out how many performances are necessary to ensure the necessary coordination with the networks (both natural and professional) involved in each case.

The chosen entity, will be provided with an estimated value of 549,072 euros for the operation of the service for 24 months. It will have to be made up of a technical team made up of at least two professionals with a degree in Psychology, Law, Pedagogy, Social Education, Psychopedagogy or Social Work, and training in family mediation. Obtain mediation training accredited by the Ministry of Justice to be part of the technical team and meet the requirements to work in mediation through our Training programs.
