We want to dedicate a place on the blog to Code of Conduct signed for the professional practice of Mediation in Andalusia.
The document includes the ethical and conduct principles that all mediation professionals must respect.
To prepare the code, different Professional Associations, Councils, Universities, Institutions and Mediation entities of Andalusia were involved, coordinated by the Mediara Foundation.
As established in the code, the purpose of these rules of conduct is ensure that in the exercise of their function, the performance of mediators is governed by criteria of competence, autonomy, confidentiality, impartiality, independence and neutrality, and their actions obey the exclusive purposes of promoting communication and seeking consensual agreements.
