Social Mediator Improved Field. Red Cross
Job Description
Depending on the Refugee Program Coordination and the Technical Directorate of the Corredor Sur Regional Assembly, we are seeking to incorporate a Social Mediator for the El Arco Hotel.
Required profile
• Higher Vocational Training (sociocultural area) and/or Intercultural Social Mediation Training.
• Proven experience of at least 6 months in intervention with immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers
• Experience in social mediation and intercultural awareness actions.
• High level of languages, preferably English and/or French. A level test will be carried out.
• User level computer knowledge.
Institutional functions to be developed
- • You will represent the Institution in its area of competence or activity.
• You will collaborate in institutional campaigns/activities.
• You will ensure the execution and compliance of the regulations and procedures applicable to the Institution, in relation to the areas of quality, labor and risk prevention.
• You will actively participate and collaborate in the development of the corporate memory
• You will actively participate and collaborate in the management and coordination of the volunteer team in the area of activity.
• You will ensure the good image of the institution.
Specific functions to be developed
• You will support the design, planning of intervention actions and training of participants, developing functions and management specific to their knowledge and area of expertise.
• You will carry out actions to facilitate the integration of project participants (Applicants for international protection, refugees and asylum seekers).
• You will attend to the demands and requests for information from the participants.
• You will manage and coordinate with public or private entities, internal or external, linked to the activity developed.
• You will carry out the procedures specific to your area of expertise, following the criteria indicated by those responsible.
• You will know and comply with the Institution's regulations in relation to the tasks to be performed.
• You will know and comply with the content and scope of the project and program
• You will know and comply with the Institution's regulations in relation to the work to be performed.

It is offered…
- Permanent contract.
- 1 weekend place. Hours: Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Part-time: 24 hours/week
- Professional group: Group 3. Level 4.
- Gross annual remuneration €14,904.91
- Trial Period: the one established by law.
