Wanted Social mediator with people who practice prostitution and victims of trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitationOur programs are aimed at intervening directly with people who practice prostitution and are victims of trafficking, from a close relationship and constant support. In different programs such as these:
- Health and social information and advice programmes for the community.
- HIV and other STI prevention programs.
- Programs to combat exclusion and social integration.
- Programs for detecting and reporting victims of trafficking.
- Awareness programs for the eradication of trafficking.
- Programs to defend human rights and empower people who engage in prostitution.
- Legal advice programs.
- Socio-health mediation and socio-laboral integration.
- Research and development programs.
Required profile
- Higher Vocational Training Course in Social Integration.
- Previous experience of 2 years as a social integrator in prostitution, trafficking, and migration programs.
- Knowledge about the field of prostitution, trafficking, migration, international protection, gender violence and the LGTBIQ+ community
- Driving license. Essential.
- Ability to work in a team
- Communication, listening and conflict resolution skills, knowledge of mediation tools will be valued
- Organizational capacity
- Efficient handling of Word and Excel and computer applications
Institutional functions to be developed
- Visit to places of prostitution.
- Mobile Unit Driving.
- Advice on health, social and legal rights for people who engage in prostitution and victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation. Provide training workshops on these matters in places where prostitution is practiced.
- Direct care for people who engage in prostitution and victims of trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation: Initial reception, user identification, basic information and guidance, attention to basic needs, technical monitoring of users, referral to other services when appropriate (psychological care, legal care and social care)
- Awareness and attention to human trafficking for sexual exploitation purposes directly with the people served.
- Care, support and counselling in HIV programmes.
- Support in administrative tasks related to the service: monitoring of files and documentation, processing and management of financial aid, etc.
- User registration in the different applications In Gender
- Preparation of preventive kits and educational documentation.
- Collaboration in other complementary tasks of care or intervention with users, when necessary and depending on the organization and necessary for the development of the service.
Specific functions to be developed
• You will support the design, planning of intervention actions and training of participants, developing functions and management specific to their knowledge and area of expertise.
• You will carry out actions to facilitate the integration of project participants (Applicants for international protection, refugees and asylum seekers).
• You will attend to the demands and requests for information from the participants.
• You will manage and coordinate with public or private entities, internal or external, linked to the activity developed.
• You will carry out the procedures specific to your area of expertise, following the criteria indicated by those responsible.

We are currently selecting 1 mediator to join the team. “Family and Civic-Social or Neighborhood Mediation Program” of the municipality of San Sebastián de los Reyes to provide Family Mediation Service and Resolution of civic-social or neighborhood conflicts aimed at families and neighbors of the municipality, from the Department of Welfare and Social Protection referred by the Municipal Social Services.
The purpose of the contract is to provide specialized service aimed at preventing intra-family conflicts, the resolution of conflicts between parties, to avoid the opening of contentious judicial proceedings, to put an end to those already initiated or to reduce their negative consequences, to facilitate the compliance of the parties in mediation with judicial resolutions that affect family relations and the resolution of neighbourhood conflicts, facilitating and promoting the resolution of coexistence problems in a peaceful and satisfactory manner for the parties in conflict.
Required profile
– Diploma or Degree in Social Work
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a family and/or neighborhood mediator.
– You must have a specific Master's and/or Expert Degree in Family Mediation, as well as be registered or be in a position to be registered in the Register of Family Mediators.
