Job Description
Social educators are sought for the Plana Alta residence for minors in Castellón. Registration deadline is 31/01/2025. The selected profile will carry out tasks of direct intervention with minors and/or families.
Features
- Carry out educational intervention tasks with children and/or families, being responsible for the comprehensive and comprehensive training of the children or group of children in his/her charge. He/she participates, together with the technicians and under the direction of the director and/or coordinator, in the educational process of the children and adolescents, carrying out orientation, programming, execution and evaluation functions. Elaboration and monitoring of the intervention plan for each child or group.
- Organize daily life and attend to the needs of the units or groups in accordance with the provisions of current regulations and the instructions of the center management, in order to promote the comprehensive development of minors and young people and their personal and social autonomy.
- Develop and deliver specific projects, within the annual programs, depending on the needs of minors and young people when they go abroad when so established, both for the realization of educational, training, work, health, leisure and free time activities, as well as for the realization of administrative or judicial procedures.
- Supervise the work of the educational technical assistant and the controller.
- Actively contributes to maintaining security and order at the center and supervises and responds to possible emergencies that occur in the group under his/her charge.
- Report daily to the director or person in charge of the center, project or resource of the actions carried out and the incidents produced, as well as the measures adopted.
- Prepare and complete all documents, reports and records that are reflected in the educational project of the center, as well as the relevant reports on the behavior and development of minors or young people in their care that are established.
Required training (any of the following)
- Social Education Degree.
Experience requested
- Experience with related groups.
- Certificate of Crimes of a Sexual Nature. Negative certificate requirement.
- Recommended: Complementary and specific training in the protection of children and adolescents, 100 hours.
- Recommended: Experience in the position 2 years.
Other requirements
- Training and experience required to carry out the duties (qualification, additional training, specific and on-the-job experience, etc.)
- Mediation capacity.
- Empathy and assertiveness to intervene in conflicts.
- Basic computer skills.
- Driving license.

We are currently looking for a monitor to join our center located in the town of Robledo de Chavela, where he/she would perform the following functions:
Features
- Energize the group, assigning tasks to users trying to guarantee its proper functioning, as well as good coexistence in the center.
- Control the group ensuring that the assigned activities and tasks are completed within the established schedules.
- Monitor hygiene and eating habits of users, through active support.
Performs and acts as support in workshops and group dynamics. - Contain emotionally, verbally and physically to the patient when agitation, self-harm or situations of heteroaggression occur.
Provides hospital accompaniment when referrals occur. Re-educates users who, if they fit the profile and due to their characteristics, need this process to normalize the daily aspects of their lives. - On the night shift, make rounds through the rooms to ensure that the users' rest guidelines are met.
Requirements
- Social studies related to the management of adolescent groups (Psychology, Social Education, Social Integration)
- In-depth knowledge of your specialty
Experience working with children and/or adolescents. - Experience in interdisciplinary teamwork.
