- Know and follow the guidelines of the documents that govern the care of minors in Residential care in Castilla la Mancha, as well as the internal documents of your entity (Home Educational Project, Home Regulations, and your own and others' functions, tasks and responsibilities...)
- Ensure adequate Coverage of all basic needs of minors, whether of a social, health, emotional, educational and/or leisure and free time nature.
- Carry out the intervention in accordance with the guidelines established in the Individual Home Intervention Plan, in a manner consistent with the Plan prepared by the Interdisciplinary Child Protection Team.
- Ensure the Application of Specific Educational Programs that respond to the needs of children,
- girls and adolescents.
- Ensuring individualized attention and tutoring of minors assigned to them, creating a climate of closeness with each of them.
- Actively participate in the coordination of the educational team.
- Maintain relations and promote coordination with social agents and other professionals related to the minors cared for.
- Study how to better intervene pedagogically in the attitudes, behaviors and personality of minors.
- Exercise specific guardianship of minors, when entrusted.
- Carry out daily activities enjoying the level of autonomy necessary to exercise their functions.
- Plan and develop cultural activities, workshop, sports, creative, maintenance and recreational home activities.
- To energize coexistence relationships.
- Ensuring that minors comply with the schedule and regulations that govern the dynamics of the home at all times.
- Ensure the maintenance of order and security in the home, avoiding disturbances of order and escape attempts that may occur.
- Participate in all meetings established by regulation and in all those to which he/she is summoned, respecting, in all cases, the staff's rest and the reconciliation of family and work life.
- Practice the direct observation of people's behavior minors in accordance with the techniques that are determined, issuing the corresponding reports and on as many occasions as requested.
- Organize and control the activities of the different programs which are their responsibility for their execution.
- Assume any other functions that the Home Management delegates to you concerning your duties.
- Any other matter that falls within your professional scope.

Technical team for the minors' area. Fuencarral-el pardo, Madrid
Job Description
Do you know the SAMU Foundation? We are a third sector entity, leader in assistance services for people at risk of social exclusion. In full expansion throughout the national territory, would you like to be part of the SAMU family?
We need to incorporate into our Entity, an intercultural mediator and an educational technical assistant. for one of our child protection centers located in Fuencarral-El Pardo in Madrid. Professionals with experience in the protection of minors, available to work rotating shifts and with immediate incorporation.
Vacant positions and duties:
Intercultural Mediator.
- Interpret and translate in interventions between minors and the educational and/or technical team.
- Facilitate and ensure coexistence and the good weather in the center.
- Mediating in conflict situations.
- Contact the family of origin, as well as advising on the appropriate legal processes for minors to obtain the necessary documentation.
- Collaborate in the execution of the educational program individual and center-based, under the supervision of the educator and in coordination with the educational team.
- Receive and accommodate minors upon their arrival at the resort.
Educational technical assistant.
- Collaborate in the execution of the program educational center and individual minors or young people, under the supervision of the educator and in coordination with the rest of the educational team, performing auxiliary, complementary and support tasks for their work.
- Carry out observation tasks by recording incidents of the shift through the different established channels.
- Provide, like the rest of the staff at the center or program, basic care and ensure the physical and mental integration of minors and young people.
- Prepare and fill all documents considered appropriate in accordance with their functions; participate in the development of specific projects based on the needs of minors and the activities of the center or program.
- Accompany to minors in their transfers or outings, procedures, consultations, walks, excursions and leisure and free time animation in general.
Requirements
- Qualification compatible with the job positions:
- Educational Technical Assistants: Higher level training studies in the socio-educational area: Social Integration, Early Childhood Education, Sociocultural Animation or similar.
- Intercultural Mediators: Social studies. Native level of Arabic required.
- Accreditation of the requirement of not having been convicted by a final judgment for any crime against sexual freedom and indemnity.
- Flexible schedule.
- Driving license and own vehicle.
