At Fundación Samu we need to incorporate 2 intercultural mediators for one of our centers located in the province of Cádiz. Professionals with demonstrable experience working with minors in residential centers. Good command of Arabic and/or French is essential.
Requirements
- Training in intercultural mediation, immigration matters and/or child protection matters
- Organization and management capacity
- Flexible schedule
- Driving license B
Features
- Carry out tasks that are not strictly educational, from the methodological or distribution point of view, orienting their work primarily towards prevention.
- Management and resolution of situations of social conflict or coexistence between people, communities or groups.
- Participate, together with the technicians and under the direction of the director and/or coordinator, in the educational process of the minor in support functions.
- Address the needs of minors in accordance with the provisions of current regulations and the instructions of the center's management, in order to promote the comprehensive development of minors and young people and their personal and social autonomy.

Social Mediator in Madrid
Intervention with families in housing conflict that present social problems. Mediation and intermediation in cases. Combined work between carrying out interventions on properties and preparing reports, facilitating daily reporting.
Requirements
- Graduate in Social Work (Diploma and Degree) or bachelor's degrees or related
- Specific training in Mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution
- Driving license B and own vehicle
- Laptop and mobile phone with prepaid card
- Intermediate level management of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word), Dropbox and email (Outlook and Gmail)
- Preparation and development of reports with daily report

Intercultural Mediator in the Balearic Islands
Description
For the Humanitarian Assistance service in the face of the migration crisis currently unleashed in the Balearic Islands, we urgently need to incorporate 5 Intercultural Mediators. Professionals with demonstrable experience working with minors in residential centers. Knowledge of Arabic and/or French at a native level is essential.
Features
- Carry out the specialized technical actions necessary to detect the needs, care and follow-up of minors who emigrate.
- Provide mediation and help to resolve conflict situations that minors have at a personal, family and social level.
- Facilitate communication processes between unaccompanied foreign minors and the professionals of the Residences.
- Promote knowledge of the culture and values of our society.
- Guide and advise the professionals of the Residence to carry out an appropriate intervention with migrant minors from multicultural competence.
- Help in the educational task and sociocultural adaptation of the minors in care, facilitating their understanding of any instructions given to them by the Residence's Technical Team.
- Promote knowledge of the rules of coexistence, as well as the organization and operation of the center.
- Intervene in the management and resolution of possible conflicts that may arise both inside and outside the Residence.
