Job Description
Foster home educator required. The selected person will have to intervene between social or institutional actors in multicultural social situations in order to prevent and/or resolve potential conflicts and promote communication with the aim of working and promoting intercultural coexistence.
-Intervene between the minor and among the group of peers or professionals to achieve integration in the new environment.
-Support in accompaniments and in the processing of documentation.

Required training (any of the following)

Experience requested
- Experience in related positions of at least two years.
- Certificate of Crimes of a Sexual Nature. Negative certificate requirement.
- Recommended: specific training in the area of Intercultural Mediation of at least 200 hours (course).
Other requirements
- Valuable experience in educational fields
- Driving license.

Social Mediator for Refugees in Navacerrada
Job Description
Depending on the Refugee Program Coordination, we are seeking to incorporate a Social Mediator for Temporary Reception in the Navacerrada facility.
Features
• You will support in the design and planning of intervention actions and training of participants, developing functions and management specific to their knowledge and area of expertise.
• You will carry out actions to facilitate integration of project participants (Applicants for international protection, refugees and asylum seekers).
• You will respond to the demands and requests for information from the participants.
• You will manage and coordinate with public or private entities, internal or external, linked to the activity carried out.
• You will carry out the procedures specific to the area belonging according to criteria indicated by those responsible.
• You will know and comply with the Institution's regulations in relation to the tasks to be performed.
• You will know and comply with the content and scope of the project and program
• You will know and comply with the Institution's regulations in relation to the work to be performed.
Requirements
• Higher Vocational Training (sociocultural area) and/or Intercultural Social Mediation Training.
• Proven experience of at least 6 months in intervention with immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers
• Experience in social mediation and intercultural awareness actions.
• High level of languages, preferably English and/or French and/or Arabic. A level test will be carried out.
• User level computer knowledge.

As part of the Refugee Program Coordination, we are looking to recruit a Social Mediator on night shift for Barajas.

• You will carry out actions to facilitate the integration of participants in the project (Applicants for international protection, refugees and displaced persons at Barajas Airport).
• You will attend to the demands and requests information for participants.
• You will manage and coordinate with public entities or private, internal or external, linked to the activity carried out.
• You will carry out the procedures specific to the area belonging according to criteria indicated by those responsible.
• You will prepare and manage the documentation of the activity carried out.
• You will support the preparation of reports and memos of the area of activity
• You will collaborate on other ordinary and/or extraordinary issues of the position or the organization.
• You will coordinate with the team professionals and participate in established meetings.
