Social worker for family program in Colmenar de Oreja, Madrid
Job Description
The job is part of a Child and family care program in the municipality of Colmenar for the “Comprehensive protection programme for children and adolescents against violence”.
The Social Worker in the Colmenar program focuses on detecting and serving families at risk or in need of protection., designing and supervising intervention plans in collaboration with the social educator and the technical team of social services. Their functions include the prevention of situations of violence, the promotion of the comprehensive development of minors, the management of social resources, the preparation of reports, and participation in absenteeism roundtables. Seeks to strengthen family capabilities to promote their autonomy and ensure the well-being and social integration of minors.
Features
1. Detect and diagnose family units in risk situations and/or lack of protection.
2. Carry out the design, intervention and monitoring of families included in the project together with the social educator of this program and under the supervision of the technicians of the social services center of the Colmenar de Oreja City Council
3. Intervene with families in difficult and risky situations, providing social resources to avoid the situation of the minor being removed from his or her social environment and prevent situations of violence in the family environment
4. Prevent and intervene in risk situations and lack of protection of minors that impede adequate development, socialization and well-being, in coordination with other social institutions.
5. Promote the comprehensive development of the minor and their adaptation to the family and social environment.
6. Attend absenteeism tables and intervene with truant minors.
7. Inform and process social resources where appropriate, to ensure positive family dynamics.
8. Prepare social reports and monitoring of members belonging to family groups who find themselves in the situations described above.
9. Involve the family progressively to assume their functions and responsibilities, avoiding dependence on professionals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in intervention with minors and families at social risk (candidates who do not have the required experience should refrain from applying).
- Degree in social work (other training is not recommended).
- Immediate incorporation.

SAMU needs to recruit a psychologist for our social and labour integration centre located in Huelva. We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in psychosocial intervention with minors at risk of exclusion, with immediate availability.
Features
- Diagnose and assess personality aspects, intelligence and abilities of minors, as well as their socio-family situation and problems.
- Provide intervention guidelines to other professionals at the center and strategies for addressing the emotional and/or behavioral disorders detected.

- Accompanying minors in your transfers or outings, procedures, consultations, walks, excursions and entertainment of leisure and free time in general.

Requirements
- Qualification compatible with the job: University degree in Psychology.
