Job Description

We are looking for people with a degree in Social Education or a Higher Degree in Social Integration to work in our Homes in the Community of Madrid. The objective is to cover shifts (morning/afternoon or night) on both Saturdays and Sundays when needed. Every weekend of the month would be worked. 

Required profile

Experience with children at risk of social exclusion of at least two years in centers or homes with children at risk of social exclusion is required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Education.
  • Residence in Madrid.
  • Training in good treatment and equality will be valued.

Functions to be developed

  • Collaborate in the execution of the educational program of the center and of the individual minors or young people, under the supervision of the educator and in coordination with the rest of the educational team, carrying out auxiliary, complementary and support tasks for their work.
  • Carry out observation tasks, recording the incidents of the shift through the different established channels.
  • Provide and care for, just like the rest of the staff at the center or program, basic care and ensure the physical and mental integration of minors and young people.
  • Prepare and complete all documents deemed appropriate in accordance with their functions and participate in the development of specific projects based on the needs of the minors and the activities of the center or program.
  • Accompanying minors on their trips or outings, arrangements, consultations, walks, excursions and leisure and free time animation in general.

We are looking to incorporate a Social Educator in the Family Meeting Point Service project in the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana
• You will plan, design and evaluate the Individual and Family Educational Plan.
• You will supervise visits and exchanges between minors and their parents.
• You will conduct follow-up interviews with minors and their parents.
• You will intervene in the family relationship with the aim of improving it, developing and executing the different strategies that have been stipulated.
• You will collect in writing all the information that occurs during the interventions and during the supervision of visits and exchanges.
• You will prepare reports on the files assigned to you.
• You will coordinate with the rest of the resource team.
• You will participate in the preparation of reports and projects.
• You will participate in meetings with external resources if necessary

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Social Education. Be a member of a professional association.
• Specific training in family intervention and guidance for minors.
