Aim
We are looking for a person for the position of PSYCHOLOGIST in the PROGRAM FOR THE CARE OF MINORS VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT in Torrejón de Ardoz.
Required profile
- Qualification and registration in Psychology with training and experience in working with families and children.
- Previous experience (verifiable) in the creation of protocols for the detection and care of minors who have suffered sexual assault and in the individualized care of children and adolescents and their families.
- Valuable: training in Gender Equality.
Features
1. Collaborate as necessary within the scope of their competences to achieve the objectives of the Program:
- Provide specialized psychological care diagnosis and treatment of minors who are victims of proven sexual violence or who have indications of having suffered some type of sexual violence.
- Provide care for underage or adult sexual offenders who acknowledge the facts and accept treatment, with the aim of evaluating the causes and preventing recurrence.
- Offering therapeutic care to families of minors.
- Provide legal advice to parents, guardians or custodians in relation to the complaint or the legal proceedings.
- Provide training and guidance for professionals and technicians who may be in contact with minors who are victims of sexual abuse, supporting their intervention.
- Repair the damage caused for sexual abuse or assault, while providing tools to the minor and his or her environment and preventing secondary victimization.
- Promote social awareness on child sexual abuse.
- Establish a protocol for the detection and care of children and adolescents who have suffered sexual violence, among all the services involved.
- Support the minor's family and provide it with strategies to deal with the problem.
2. Psychological assistance. The psychological assistance actions to be carried out by the Service will be the following:
- Diagnostic assessment.
- Treatment sessions for children and adolescents who have suffered abuse, assault and/or sexual exploitation.
- Court appearances for ratification of reports.
- Social intervention in network of all resources involved.
- Empowering through training and guidance to professionals from different
- services and resources in the field of protection of childhood and adolescence and, in particular, to the specific municipal teams for the care of children and adolescents.
3. Maintain appropriate relationships, plan actions and make proposals for action to the corresponding Administration (Torrejón de Ardoz City Council) and to the Program Coordination.
- Appropriate and comprehensive writing of reports and memos.
- Record and safeguard the data, documents and indicators for monitoring the process.
