Job Description
Development of educational action and implementation of the package of measures for social integration and orientation. This group includes professionals linked to educational action and social and labour integration.
Features
- Educate and care for minors housed in the center, in accordance with the Centro Educational Center Project and current regulations.
- Develop and evaluate instruments for educational action individualized for each minor, with the support of the technical team professionals, and the guidance of the specialized Child Protection Service.
- Participate in the development of the instruments general aspects of educational action.
- Carry out the tutorial action regarding the minor or minors entrusted to him/her by the management of the center.
- Conduct educational monitoring school training and/or the minor's job insertion process.
- Comply and facilitate compliance of the rules of coexistence.
- Assume responsibility within the scope of their decision-making powers or measures necessary in the absence of the most direct superiors responsible, always taking into account the legal regulations and those of the Regulations of Organization and Operation of the Center. - Participate in the process of fitting a minor into family reunification or foster care.
Requirements
- Preferably Bachelor's Degree in Social Education or a bachelor's or degree in human, social, or educational disciplines or have professional qualifications related to the work carried out by the Child Protection Centers (Professional Group 1).
- Membership in Social Education
- 2 years of experience in the field of competences of the prevention and protection system for children and adolescents.
- In case of not having 2 years of experience, accredited training in the psychosocial, occupational and/or socio-educational field related to the object of the service of at least 300 hours duration.
- Knowledge: teaching methodology, child and youth development, guidance and social and labor insertion techniques, conflict resolution, knowledge of the protection system and the group of minors under guardianship, Office
- Knowledge of Arabic, French is valuable
- Skills: Empathy and social skills, teamwork, problem solving, adaptability, decision making, creativity, resilience.
- Driving license and own vehicle.

Job Description

SAMU needs to recruit three Educational Technical Assistants and one Intercultural Mediator to work in one of our Residential Centres in the Huesca area. We are looking for professionals with at least 1 year of demonstrable experience in working with adolescents from the protection system, with immediate availability and flexible hours.
Educational Technical Assistant:
- Collaborate in the execution of the educational program of the center and individually of minors or young people, under the supervision of the educator and in coordination with the rest of the educational team, carrying out auxiliary, complementary and support tasks for their work.
- Carry out observation tasks recording shift incidents through the various established channels.
- Provide care and attention like the rest of the staff at the center or program, and ensure the physical and mental integration of minors and young people.
- Prepare and complete all documents that are considered appropriate in accordance with their functions, participate in the development of specific projects based on the needs of the minors and the activities of the center or program.
- Accompanying minors on their trips or outings, procedures, consultations, walks, excursions and leisure and free time animation in general.
- During the activities you will be accompanied and supervised by the educator.
Intercultural Mediator:
- Supporting educators to develop the methodology correctly and intervene with minors, facilitating spaces for affective and normalized coexistence.
- Be a model for identifying minors addressed in terms of patterns of behavior and performance of integrative social roles in today's society.
- Participate in the organization of activities of daily life (health, school, hygiene, etc.) depending on the educational objectives planned for each minor.
- Ensure the proper functioning of coexistence and compliance with the regulations of the resource.
Demanded profile
- Arabic and/or French and/or Wolof and/or Bambara native level.
- Level B1 of Spanish.
- Proof of the requirement of not having been convicted by a final judgment for any crime against freedom and sexual indemnity.
