The San Lorenzo de El Escorial Children's Village is a child protection centre where children, adolescents and young people live together who, for various reasons, cannot continue living with their family of origin. Currently, a person with training in social work is required to join the technical team.
Features
- Assess the foster care demands of children, adolescents and young people (NNAyJ).
- Management of documentation related to files: opening of files, management of registration, request for permits, documentation on health matters and judicial procedures.
- Ensure an adequate individual, family and/or social intervention program.
- Advise and supervise the Technical Team from its area of action and the Educational Units in the social area and in the development of the Projects concerning each SOS Home.
- Participation in village team meetings, both with educational units and with the technical team
- Network coordination with professionals from different social protection systems, social services and public administrations.
- Collaborate in tasks related to the Quality Management System that are assigned to you
Required training
- Degree in social work.
- Valuable training in systemic therapy.
- Valuable training in the prevention of gender violence
Experience requested
- Experience as a social worker in the residential field focused on children or social intervention in those at risk of social exclusion.
Other requirements
- Accreditation of the requirement of not having been convicted by a final judgment for any crime against sexual freedom and indemnity.
- High capacity for organization, management, and teamwork.
- Flexible schedule.
- Communication skills, commitment and desire to learn.
Type of contract: permanent contract. Full-time workday of 38.5 hours per week, distributed in rotating shifts in the morning, afternoon, evening and weekend.
Level: employee.
Salary: 18,001 and 24,000 € gross/year

The selected person must have experience in developing social intervention actions with minors and families, and specific training in this field.
