{"id":8609,"date":"2021-03-08T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-07T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/ser-mediador\/noticias-escuela-mediacion\/https-eimediacion-edu-es-ser-mediador-mujer-mediadora\/"},"modified":"2021-07-15T13:53:11","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T11:53:11","slug":"dia-internacional-de-la-mujer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/eng\/ser-mediador\/noticias-de-mediacion\/dia-internacional-de-la-mujer\/","title":{"rendered":"March 8: Women mediators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>Today, Monday, March 8, we celebrate the <strong>International Women&#039;s Day<\/strong> declared as such by the United Nations in 1975.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>This International Day dates back to the mid-19th century, in the midst of the industrial revolution, specifically in 1857, when thousands of women textile workers decided to take to the streets to <strong>claim <\/strong>for his work in search of <strong>improvement of working conditions<\/strong>, schedule and end of child labor.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, demonstrations have taken place every year to fight for our rights and ensure that both men and women are equal.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Global Alliance of Women Mediators<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>With the intention of increasing the participation and influence of women in peace and equality processes, different alliances and networks of women mediators have been created.
