It is a <strong>ethical and legal guarantee<\/strong> that protects the participants, provides <strong>transparency<\/strong> to the process and <strong>empowers<\/strong> decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does enhanced informed consent ensure?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Real understanding<\/strong> of the scope, phases, limits and conditions of the procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Willfulness<\/strong>: Mediation can be terminated at any time without penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objective of the process<\/strong>: facilitate the exploration of agreements while preserving the <strong>security<\/strong> and the <strong>Fundamental rights<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Confidentiality with limits<\/strong>: if they appear <strong>signs of violence<\/strong>, <strong>risk to minors<\/strong> either <strong>crimes punishable ex officio<\/strong>, the mediator must act according to the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Measures to ensure equal participation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The gender perspective approach involves identifying possible <strong>structural barriers op<\/strong><strong>Specialized support<\/strong> (where applicable): free legal advice and <strong>psychosocial support<\/strong> before and during the sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Modalities adapted to safety<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>separate interviews,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>shuttle mediation<\/strong> (indirect mediation),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sessions <strong>remote\/online<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Professional support<\/strong>: possibility of going with a lawyer, psychologist or social worker as a reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How agreements are documented<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreements will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>review clauses<\/strong> and <strong>modification mechanisms<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rapid activation if they occur <strong>substantive changes<\/strong> either <strong>incidents affecting security<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When consent is considered granted<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The consent is signed <strong>after<\/strong> of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>receive all relevant information,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have time to <strong>ask and resolve doubts<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>express freely<\/strong> the will to participate, <strong>without coercion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This document protects the parties and <strong>reinforces the integrity of the process<\/strong> and the <strong>professional responsibility<\/strong> of the mediation team..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Informed consent <strong>reinforced<\/strong> turns mediation into a space <strong>safe, transparent and equitable<\/strong>.
