{"id":30594,"date":"2021-08-10T14:01:20","date_gmt":"2021-08-10T12:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/?p=30594"},"modified":"2021-08-10T14:20:28","modified_gmt":"2021-08-10T12:20:28","slug":"el-espejo-en-mediacion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/eng\/ser-mediador\/noticias-escuela-mediacion\/el-espejo-en-mediacion\/","title":{"rendered":"The mirror in mediation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the mediation process we will encounter situations of tremendous difficulty due to the<strong> emotional tension<\/strong> presented by the parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tools of mediators<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Faced with these emotions we know a diversity of <strong>tools<\/strong> that helped us achieve a fundamental aspect for the process, reestablishing communication between the parties. Looking at yourself in a mirror with a messy room behind you is not the same as looking at a nice, well-arranged bedroom, since in this case you will feel better with what you see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\">Role of mediators in situations of emotional tension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The parties see in their mirror what the <strong>reflex mediator<\/strong> along with how they behave, and when they see things that motivate them, the more they want to be healthy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If they see that our way of speaking is calm, our tone of voice is kind, it is very likely that they will stop and look if they do not do it that way, in that case, they rehearse with their mirror (mediator) their kindest tone of voice. unconsciously, to end up understanding that they can also use it with the person with whom they were in conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This first phase of mediation requires great doses of patience from the mediators and the mediator, but the result is the key to finding satisfactory agreements for the mediated parties.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We mediators must try to reflect in a mirror an appropriate attitude for the people who are demanding this service.
