An example of this are two of our students from the 30th Class of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/eng\/programas\/curso-mediacion-especialista-380h\/\">University Course on Civil, Commercial and Family Mediation<\/a>: Salvador Ayala and Josefa Torres.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And, in the multicultural environment, the use of mediation is relatively recent, since in these contexts there are particularities that make mediation different and perhaps more complex.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These are people who, despite sharing the same social space, belong to different socio-cultural and ethnic groups. It is because of that <strong>the need for communication between people from the majority culture and those belonging to minority groups is growing<\/strong>, since it is often made difficult by the use of language, stereotypes, spatial separation or ignorance of cultural reference codes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In order to achieve an intercultural and consistent society, it is necessary to promote contact between groups of culturally different people.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is what the Civil Guard Command and the gypsy group of Almer\u00eda have implemented in 2018. <a href=\"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/eng\/opiniones-alumnos\/\">Our students<\/a> of the <strong>Gypsy Federation of Almer\u00eda<\/strong> They delivered to the Civil Guard of their province a <strong>conflict mediation protocol<\/strong>, in order to advise and cover the needs of this group, as well as achieve trust in them through institutions such as the National Police.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was at this meeting where they took stock of the positivity of the actions carried out, such as, for example, the closing of the annual cycle of activities within the framework of the Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of School Safety, in which different conferences on different delicate issues present in society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During this event, Josefa Torres (our student), president of the Almer\u00eda Gypsy Federation and representative of the Nebi Silesqui de Berja Gypsy Women&#039;s Association, presented a diploma in gratitude for the preventive work of the Civil Guard in educational centers and its environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These former students of the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/eng\/curso-universitario-mediacion\/\">Civil, Commercial and Family Mediation course<\/a><\/strong>, are already carrying out Mediation between the Civil Guard Command and the gypsy group of Almer\u00eda. Since the signing of this Mediation agreement and delivery of the diploma, relations between the police and the Gitana federation of Almer\u00eda have continued, leading to a match between both groups, promoting coexistence between two topically opposed groups.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If mediation is characterized by something, it is that it facilitates rapprochement between the parties and promotes conciliation between them.
