{"id":24698,"date":"2021-06-28T09:59:31","date_gmt":"2021-06-28T09:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/?p=24698"},"modified":"2021-07-08T13:58:16","modified_gmt":"2021-07-08T11:58:16","slug":"castilla-la-macha-colabora-con-la-once-por-las-personas-sordociegas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/eng\/ser-mediador\/noticias-de-mediacion\/castilla-la-macha-colabora-con-la-once-por-las-personas-sordociegas\/","title":{"rendered":"ONCE and Castilla-La Mancha join forces to collaborate with deafblind people"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Regional Government of the province of Castilla La Mancha collaborates with the<strong> ONCE Association<\/strong> to provide help to deafblind people in the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Castilla-La-Macha-colabora-con-la-ONCE-por-las-personas-sordociegas-scaled-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/eimediacion.edu.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Castilla-La-Macha-colabora-con-la-ONCE-por-las-personas-sordociegas-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24703\" width=\"630\" height=\"420\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Development of programs and services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It will be carried out with the launch of centers and through the<strong> development of programs and services for these people. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On June 27, <strong>International Day of Deafblind People<\/strong>, a celebration will be held to highlight the commitment of this Community with associations such as ONCE, to <strong>break down barriers and fight for inclusion and accessibility. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deafblindness is a <strong>disability<\/strong> which arises from visual and auditory sensory deficiencies, which manifests itself in different degrees causing communication problems and special needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the 98 people who suffer from this disability in the region, 28 are in mediation programs, supported by mediators who offer care in Guadalajara and Cuenca. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mediation programs <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is necessary to put into practice<strong> methodologies in education<\/strong> of boys and girls and the rehabilitation of young people and adults to work on the other senses, such as touch, and also, work with small traces of sight and hearing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They have been treated and talked about <strong>benefits of these mediation programs<\/strong>n for these people and about how deafblindness affects daily life, since it is difficult to work autonomously and specialized services are required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>financing<\/strong> This service is carried out through private entities of social initiatives, such as the<strong> ONCE Deafblindness Technical Unit<\/strong> and with the communicative mediators of the <strong>Foundation for the Care of Deafblind People (FOAPS). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fountain: <a href=\"https:\/\/diariodelamancha.com\/castilla-la-mancha-y-la-once-colaboran-en-la-atencion-de-las-personas-sordociegas-de-la-region\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Diary of La Mancha<\/a>. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Regional Government of Castilla La Macha collaborates with ONCE for blind people, to provide them with care and programs.
